Error while activating /SCWM/BASICS

Hi,
I'm trying to acivate the BC Set /SCWM/BASICS in EWM 7 Add-On.

But everytime I'm getting an weird error that says "BC Set Processing error   Message No: SCPR320".

When I check the activation log, I find that all the BC Sets have been passed to activation i.e. they have got a green dot by their side.

But on the left hand side BC Set browser, it says that the activation has been cancelled. I've also checked for key conflicts and there are none.

I've attached a screenshot of the activation log. Kindly help.

Pack status misleading

Dear All

We have scenario of Pick, Pack Stage and Load where in loose items are picked to  temporary reusable pick HU (Totes) and brought to Pack work center.

 

In the Packing station they are packed  as per customer specific packaging , Finally staged and Loaded.

Issue is  delivery gets the pack status "completed"immediately after the pick confirmation to Pick HU and not based on actual pack completion.

Is there any way to reflect the packing status after completion of packing in the work center.

I could have activated the flag " Do not put away HUs" in the Pack  center  storage type but we want to track the pick HU's adn the contents at the pack stations until they are transferred to packing cartons.

 

 

An extension to above question>>

Unlike the above scenario where the loose items are picked into the pick HU the scenario here is Picking of cartons to pick HU..

How to handle the requirement of  Pick HU being with the  resource after pick confirmation and the requirement is to just drop the picked cartons at the pack work center.

Packing status becomes complete after using Pick HU

Hi Experts,

 

We use Pick HU for Outbound to pick products from warehouse to packing work center

but as soon as we use pick hu in warehouse order for Out delivery and confirm the WO to pack center

the status of packing becomes complete

which should be ideally complete after we repack the products in to ship hu

 

is there any thing i m missing to accomplish this?

Consumption of Packaging material during outbound delivery

Hi,

We want to address a requirement like this:

 

An outbound delivery is created in ERP against a STO. This delivery is distributed to EWM. The delivery items are picked and put in a 'box', the box represents a handling unit. When the PGI happens for this delivery, the stock of the 'box' should get reduced and consumption should be posted for the main item as well as  for the 'box'.

We are ok if the 'box' is picking relevant or not (either way we are ok), but the comsumption of the 'box' is a must. We need an automated solution  - manual addition of 'box' as a new line item in the outbound delivery will not solve my purpose.

 

 

Please suggest the best solution for this.

not scrollable columns in Warehouse management nodes.

Hello all. I need help.

I have custom node. I have to make 2 first columns not scrollable (horizontal scroll) and mark them blue.

I know only how make it not scrollable (function "Freeze to Column" and save it in layout), but I have to make it as in standard node.

How Can I do it ?

For example as 1 column on picture :

Yard Management Issue

Hi All,

 

Please help  me to Resolve the  following issue.

I have  completed  Arrival at checkpoint,Move the TU  to parking lot,Move the TU to Door.

When  i   try to unload  TU  system throws an  error "Simple unloading is not possible".

 

Message no. /SCWM/SHP_RCV400 .

Work center capacity or WT generic

Dear All

Is it possible to have Work center determination based on Bin capacity ,

if not then as second option

Is it possible to  have WT generic for work center determination where in the picker based on the available work center will enter the bin and confirm the task.

 

Please confirm with the storage type settings/role to accomplish the above..

Create multiple WT performance issue in EWM

Hi Experts,

 

In EWM, one Inbound delivery with multiple materials (more than 300 items and packing more than 1000 HUs) need to be putaway with warehouse tasks. System took more than 3 mins to create WTs. Our client think this performance cannot be accepted.

 

Who can advise how to optimize the system to create WT in EWM? We are using EWM standard function to create WT for putaway.

Pick and Direct Load

Dear All

I am trying the scenario of Pick and direct Loading to TU and expecting the Pick task to have destination as TU.

I have configured POSC using 2 external steps OB01 & OB04 and OB04 set as Rule based in the POSC control.

 

Condition 1: If the delivery has staging bay then pick task destination is staging bay- Standard works fine

Condition 2: If the delivery has Door assigned then pick task destination is Door Bin- Works fine

Condition 3: If the delivery has door assigned and TU is docked to the door , then pick task destination shall be TU- Not working .. system determines the staging bay as destination..

 

For condition 2 it works with direct product WT and you have to implement recent note 1975553

Transfer Order completed but still stock showing in minus

Dear All,

 

I have checked the status of wm stock in lx02 qty showing -20.

Currently system showing as BIN-4000024  with -20 qty, while posting source and target storage bin as shown in fig.

Please help me to remove out wm stock.

Reg: Transfer order printout in two different printers

Hello

 

I have a specific requirement

 

My client is asking for print out for pick list transfer orders in two different printers based on the storage type. I have configured the set up in OMLV . Sorting ,profiles etc etc but it deosn't work.

 

lets say for ex in pick list there are around 8 different storage types in which for only one storage type it should print in a different printer.rest all 7 storage type should print in one printer.

POSC OUTBOUND ISSUE

Hi All,

 

I am  trying to  run  POSC Outbound  Scenario. I am  getting an error when  i  try to save  Pick WT  .The  Error Message  is  as Follows

 

Storage bin GI-ZONE is not assigned to storage type 9020

Message no. /SCWM/L3010 .

 

 

 

I have  done the  following configuration   for  POSC Outbound process..

 

1.Storage Process- OUT1 = OB1 - Pick +  OB2-Pack +OB4- Load

 

2. The  Process OUT1 is assigned To   WOCR  HE01  .

 

Pack Station- 8030  , Loading Storage Type-9030 .I have  used  WPT- P211   To  Move  Product  from  Source  Storage Type to  Pack Station.

Error Meaage-Delivery item : Goods Movement bin not populated

Dear Experts,

 

When I make the transaction mov 561 in ERP system,and than I wan to GR this document in EWM system.

 

The error message show that

 

Delivery XXXXXX  item10 : Goods Movement bin not populated

 

How do I solve this problem?

Issue:GR completed in EWM but not happened in ECC

Hi Experts,

 

In our system, one Inbound delivery has been successfully GR and putaway in EWM  in April 16 2014, but today, we found this inbound delivery has not been PGR in ECC yet. Currently the inventory is not same between EWM and ECC.

 

We checked the queue for inbound in ECC with SMQ2, however there is not any queue information yet.

 

Who can help us how to handle this issue? There is any way to PGR in ECC separately?

Error in inbound delivery replication ERP -> EWM

Hi,

We have recently installed SAP ERP 6 EhP 6 and EWM 7.0 Ehp2 Add-On

Now, we are not being able to replicate Inbound Delivery from ERP to EWM.

As we save the ID in ERP we are getting a message that the ID has been distributed.

 

But the document is getting stuck in the RFC queue.

In SMQ2 the particular queue gets the status "SYSFAIL" with the error message "Function module does not exist or EXCEPTION raised. Message no. SY359"

The function module field contains "/SCWM/INB_DLV_SAVEREPLICA" 

The status message says: "CREATE DATA: The document /1DF/_PDI000 is no... "


I've properly defined the standard BAPI destination and I've checked note 1398474.



Please help me get out of this mess.

Prepack or putaway after packed

Dear Experts,

 

I would like to know whether my flow is feasible in SAP or alternative should be seeked. I am new to SAP NW so please correct me if I am wrong.

 

My company wants to pre-pack delivery for a matter of efficiency. Let say the delivery should be made on 3 days later. However, the picker will be required to pick and pack the materials today. The problem is how can I represent this in SAP. Normally, materials are picked and packed and transferred to 916 and waiting for GI with HU information. However, as mentioned before, the delivery will be happened 3 days later. So, it seems necessary to putaway the packed materials back into warehouse. Certainly, normal putaway seems not an option as the packed materials are inside 916 interim bin already and not warehouse relevant anymore. So, what should I do in this case? Please advise. Once again, I am new to SAP WM and please point me out if I got any concept wrong.
