One warehouse and Multiple Sloc's in one building.....

Hello All,

 

I have below scenario

 

I have one Plant and 10 storage locations which are single  EWM warehouse managed.But these 10 SLocs are in 3 Physical buildings.Like below

 

Building 1-SLOC1,SLOC2,SLOC3

Building 2-SLOC4,SLOC5,SLOC6

Building 3-SLOC7,SLOC8,SLOC9,SLOC10

 

 

I have stock type and availability group for each storage location and configured accordinlgy.

 

Now the problem is if i have Material1 in both the storage locations like SLOC1 and SLOC2,how do i receive them into their respective storage locations and do the putaway.

EWM Idoc for Inventory

Hi,

I am new to EWM. My client is a 3PL and manages stocks for its clients. We have a requirement to send EDI Inventory snapshot (most probably at the end of the day) from our warehouse to the Client. Does SAP provide any standard IDoc in EWM that will have the inventory data that I can use to translate to an EDI file 9in our EDI translator) or will this be a custom development to create something from scratch? Since we have to send the Bin level data, we cannot use ECC to send the inventory details so it has to come out of EWM.

External Number Range Mapping From ERP to EWM

Hi, I could do with some pointers to resolve the following issue:

 

The ERP system allows external numbers to be created without any validation so therefore the format and length is variable which include /  -  Alpha Numerics or a mixture of the above.

 

When the inbound delivery notification is created in EWM it fails to activate as its asking for an internal number range. The packaging material type has been assigned a number range but this is linked to an external number range.

 

Currently the inbound delivery HU is not used for any processing the warehouse but for the next project its a requirement.

 

Appreciate any suggestions.

Sale unit of measure is not copied into Delivery from MF60 staging

Hello all,

 

we are using MF60 for EWM staging. Component has base unit of measure as M2. For production purposes, issue unit of measure was set to KG.

 

I managed to get KG in MF60 during staging, but Outbound delivery created contains however unit M2. This is unit of issue from sales org1 tab. I changed this to KG, but still M2 is coming.

 

Please let me know if you know what is the problem.

Duplicate cancellation in outbound delivery order

Due to an error handled by OSS note 1937613 we have a duplicate cancelation of an item in our outbound delivery order (transaction /SCWM/PRDO). The outbound delivery order item is now blocked in an inconsitent status and we are not able to process forward (creation of outbound delivery) not backward (cancellation). The error message we get ist message /SCDL/BO_VALIDATION 047 (Negative '&1' quantity not allowed). How can we get rid of the inconsistent status. Does anyone have an idea?

Not able to activate business function "LOG_PP_EWM_MAN"

Hi Gurus,

 

We are unable to activate business function "LOG_PP_EWM_MAN' in ECC system. While activating a back ground job starts and terminates instantly and there is no change to the status of the business function.

 

The details of the error log is attached herewith.

 

ECC version: ECC6 EHP 7

 

The dependency business function "LOG_PP_EWM_MAN" is active and dependencies are fulfilled.

 

Any pointers on this will be highly appreciated.

COULD NOT FULLY DETERMINE THE DESTINATION BIN'

Hi All,

 

I am working in a EWM BADI implementation for first time and am enhancing the /SCWM/ES_CORE_PTS for custom putaway logic based on SLED. The system is configured for bulk bin storage and I have implemented the '/SCWM/EX_CORE_PTS_NBIN_BLK' BADI.. Whenever am trying to assign a destination bin which already has a HU and the bin total capacity is of holding 6 HU . My BADI implementation is getting triggered several times as I know this bcoz I have kept a break point with my user id. After several triggering the HU warehouse task is not created an getting a error saying 'COULD NOT FULLY DETERMINE THE DESTINATION BIN' . Kindly help out me out on this error and its very urgent as it has to be delivered. The warehouse task is created for Handling units.

How are storage location locations associated to storage type

Hi ,

 

I have a question ,

 

Incase of a storage location ROD , it takes only stock of F1 type which is unrestricted use in putaway . why is that.
For AFS , similarly it uses F2 type of stock which is unrestricted use in Warehouse.

 

How can these two things be linked. Tell me what storage type will suit ROD and what will suit AFS.
I can understand a bit, when it comes to ROD , the picking is not possible as the goods are jus in dock , received , so that it cant be
directly used for picking in case if it has process like DE-consolidation, VAS ,etc.

 

That s why a concept of cross docking was introduced.Similarly stock types like Q1,B1,Q2,B2,IM would fall under which storage location and why. Please some one brief me to understand this concept easily. I would be so thankful to you.

What is batch management

What is batch management and how is it useful in the process.

 

Could any one, please explain the need for Batch management .

 

Is it mainly for chemical,pharmaceutical companies or say the company that holds the WM for liquid based products.

 

Please give me a short over view,as the WH in which iam  currently supporting does not have batch management.

 

Ford doesnt have any Warehouse with batch management. So please help with the same

Unable to get Idoc for inbound delivery for EWM

Hi Experts

I have done settings for EWM with connection to ERP IDES.

I could able to distribute the inbound delivery but getting error in transferring to EWM.

Suspecting Idoc issue and partner profile.

Please see attached screen shots and advise if any setting to be corrected.

Inspection Document Header Decision not updated

Hi All,

 

We are updating the decision for an inspection document from /SCWM/QINSP and saving it. On checking in /SCWM/QIDPR, only the element is updated with the correct decision , whereas the header is not updated correctly.   Since I am an ABAPer, I am looking for any BADIs that may have been implemented and the functional consultant is looking from his perspective, but we have not been able to arrive at a solution. Kindly provide your valuable inputs.

Serial Number in SAP EWM

can we use serial number only in EWM side with no settings on ERP side or ERP is no at all involved in it ??? Can anyone suggest the customizing steps??

Unable to Delete BIN

Hi,

 

I created a Bin Manually with T Code /scwm/LS01

 

The Bin does not have any stock etc.

 

Problem is that i am not able to delete this Bin neither /scwm/LS02  nor  /scwm/LS11.

 

System giving me error

I tried to repeat same for other newly created Bin but same error.

Picking incompletely

Hi Experts,

 

I have a requirement to create kit to stock for ex: 4 EA, for which I need to pick two parts X and Y with 4 EAs. When i create VAS order from EWM,

ODO is always creating for 1 EA ie. respective WT is always getting created for 1 EA, but it should create for 4 EA as there is more quantity in source bin. And, WOCR rule is also not created with any additional rules like packing profile and limit values and other rules.

 

But, if i try to pick the same kit component with direct outbound delivery, it is picking quantity as expected with different WOCR.

 

Can you please suggest me what could be the reason for this issue.

No values found for the selection during put away

St.Type: Bulk Behavior. Maintained all put away relevant config (St.Type Search Sequence, WPT, Bulk Structure, Bulk Indicator at Whse Product Master). Created manually three storage bins specifying Storage Type, Storage Section, Storage Bin Type.

 

Received stock via Inbound Delivery, during creation of HU WT, the system throws an error

 

No values found for the selection

Could not fully determine the destination data.

 

The system is not proposing the newly created bins. Thanks in advance

Issue Language EWM 9.00

Hello, i have an issue in EWM 9.00 recently i installed NW 7.31 and apply all EWM ADDONs, i need all de system in ES(spanish) language, actually all system already have this language but all tx and programs sued by SCMEWM 900 components are in english.

 

I have both languages installed, and system language = S / second = E, in profile parameters, the installation note of EWM said all languages are included in SP01 of this aplication but i can not activate this.

 

 

Help!
