Does anyone know if SAP has formerly announced an end-of-life / end-of-support date for the current WM module? I assume with the push to EWM as the future of this space, the existing WM module will be made obsolete, but haven't been able to find any specifics on when. Any / all info is greatly appreciated.

Error After deletion /SAPAPO/LOC and /SAPAPO/LOCMAP
Dear All,
Due to some requirement i searched required Business System Group table /SAPAPO/LOC and deleted the entries and then re-create the Integration Model from CFM1 and when i execute the CFM2 the above error shows "The ABAP/4 Open SQL array insert results in duplicate". Can anyone help me to resolve this error.

Mass upload of Fixed Bin Mappings
Hi All
Is there any way to define fixed bin mappings using CSV file etc? I know the transaction /scwm/binmat but here we can't upload for all fixed bins through csv etc.. or using the config where first posting will fix the product to bin. But I am looking for a csv file upload like we do for storage bins and stock uploads in EWM.

EWM - Product Master classification tab - Class Type 230
Hi
In EWM Product Master - Classification tab I am not getting Class type 230 when I click on "CLASSIFICAITON" button.
The class 230 is available and can be selected when I created Batch Class -"EXPIRATION".
I have created characteristics ....
ZLOBM_VFDAT Shelf Life Expiration Date
ZLOBM_RLZ Remaining Shelf Life
and assigned to class 230 :
Class EXPIRATION
Class type 230
Change Number
Valid from 17.10.2014
ZLOBM_VFDAT Shelf Life Expiration Date or NUM 15 0 W
ZLOBM_RLZ Remaining Shelf Life for W01 CHAR 30 0 W
But at Product Master Class 230 is not selectable from dropdown?
Any suggestion for missing setting?
Please note - Batches , Class and Characteristics are not maintained in our case in ERP and are required to be created in EWM only.

EWM : Pallet Storage with fixed bins
Hi,
We are using Push-Back type storage bins with 3 bin sections.
As per the standard , the putaway strategy can be achieved using pallet storage strategy .Is it possible to fix the bins for a particular product in the storage type which as storage behavior as pallet storage.
Is there any standard option available in EWM or alternate option to achieve the same.

Unknown error during manual creation Inbound Delivery in EWM
Hello all,
I'm building a demo for an SAP EWM system. It's installed on an existing SCM system, and is connected to ECC 6.0.
The replication of Inbound Deliveries from ERP to EWM is going fine. However, when I try to create an Inbound Delivery in EWM manually (tr. /SCWM/PRDI), I get the following error message:
Unknown error has occurred in target system - Message no. /SCWM/DELIVERY_UI056
Does anyone know how to solve this error?

Mass upload to /SCWM/BINMAT - Maintain fixed Bins
Hi Aall,
Is there any way to upload fixed bin mappings using CSV file etc?
I know the transaction /scwm/binmat but here we can't upload for all fixed bins through csv etc.
I tried using LSMW / SHDB ,but as on subscreen ALV grid is there which is not possible to record.
Please suggest alternate solution or if any bapi/fm available.

automatic determination of Door in TU and further process
Hi
I am working with a POSC scenario for inbound process. unloading+packing+putaway
EWM ID has got door and Goods Movement bin determined automatically through-- door determination setting and bin assignment to the door setting respectively.
Also the staging area details are determined using /SCWM/STADET_IN
1. when I assign this ID to a new TU which has been checked-in, why doesn't the system automatically refer to the Door in ID and assign it to the TU? OR it has to be done manually only?
2. Further, If I assign the door manually and dock the TU to the the door determined in ID, can I have my system configured to create the Unloading WTs automatically?
In my case, it is not happening. Is it achievable? if yes, how?
When i try /SCWM/UNLOAD to do manually Create Unloading WTs(complex), it throws an error that.
"No entry found for process-oriented storage control for <WH no> + <First ext Step of POSC>" I could not find any issue with POSC setting.
In this situation, if i do a GR in the same screen, GR is completed and unloading task is created.
The unloading WT created has the destination data of the staging area, but the source bin data is blank.
3.No able to understand ..why WT is created only after GR and why the source bin data(i.e.door bin) is not available unloading WT ?
if i confirm this WT, all the further POSC steps are working perfectly.
N.B. yard mgmt is not active.
Need help for the above 3 issues.

I've not worked in 9.1 and we are thinking of upgrading at some point next year ; we are currently on SAP EWM 7.02 SP13.
If you have done such upgrade,I'd be really interested to see how you approached the subject,the pros and cons,what to look out,etc,etc...

EWM Inbound delivery process Clarification
Hi ,
I am trying to complete a Inbound process in EWM. Here are the steps I executed
1) Creation of PO and Delivery in ECC
2) IBN is created in EWM which is thereafter converted to IBD
3) The process type in IBD line item is 1011 (Putaway with Storage process)
4) I used "follow on function" - Pack in Inbound delivery transaction to pack the material in HU.It changed the "Packing status in IBD = Completed"
5) Then I used "Follow on Function" - Warehouse task to create task for subsequent actions
6) It created a tasks 1) from Door - Staging area (Process type 3065 (unloading) , Storage process = INB1 and Step IB01)
7) Confirmation of this WT updated the Goods receipt status in ECC and created a new task
8) The newly created task has process type 1011 (put-away) and step is IB03. This task is created to move the material from staging area (9010) to 0003 Storage type
9) I confirmed the task to complete the process
But in Inbound delivery line item status , I have final status like
Packing status = Complete
Goods Receipt = Complete
Unloading = Complete
Putaway Status = NOT started
Warehouse Activity = Partially completed
I tried to created Warehouse task to set the status of Putaway to complete but system prompts an Error "
There are no unpacked or packed warehouse request items for processing"
Can you please help to complete this prcoess

Different Pack sizes in Inbound Delivery
Hello Team ,
I have one issue in OBD which product is having the different Pack sizes in ECC and in EWM having single Pack size. The Both Pack sizes are keeping in same location.
The problem is when Picker starts picking using the Hand Held Terminals , system is not allowing to change the pack size.
Do anybody having the Idea how to achieve this ? The device has to automatically show the right pallet / box or it should allow to change / modify the pack size on device.

EWM - Steps to define plant as business partner
Hello gurus,
I'm new to SAP EWM and I'm in a big trouble...
I'm trying to create inbound deliveries but they are not replicated in EWM.
I got the following error message : "No unique partner found for plant 0002".
I'm pretty sure it's because I'm not able to set correctly a BP to the plant.
Could you please guide me through this ?
These are the steps I've done in Tcode "BP" :
- Create as organisation
- Choose role BBP0003
- In identification section :
- ID type : 1001 (type CRM011)
- Identification number : 0002 (plant code)
- Responsible institution : EWMTEST (the name of the unique logical system for both ERP and EWM)
P.S : EWM is installed as an add-on, it's running on the same machine.

Our Goods Receive Business scenario is
1. Filled Batch in EWM Inbound Delivery
2. Manual Pack product to Handling unit
3. After packing, Automatic Good Receive
4. Then create Warehouse Task automatically .
Question
We want to know how to use PPF customizing Auto GR after we Pack product to Handling unit?
Can anyone help us to figure out that problem?

Significance of storage process type in outbound / inbound scenarios
Guru's,
I am new to eWM and and trying to understand the process.
most of the times I came across the terminology warehouse process type. From forum I understand that in inbound process storage process type is maintained in warehouse process type.
system determines the warehouse process type based on Warehouse No. ,Document Type,Item Type,Deliv. Priority,ProcTypeDet Ind,Process Ind.
In eWM when the document type is determined system automatically determines warehouse process type and from there storage process. in process type it is getting determined whether putaway or picking process or etc...
in inbound process Handling units will be linked to Storage process for moving goods. Tasks will be created accordingly.
now my question is in outbound process - in initial step we will not have any Handling unit information.
from outbound delivery order we are creating task to pick the goods from source bin like ...
High Rack Storage
Rack Storage
Rack Storage - Near Fixed Bin
General Storage Area
Bulk Storage
now if my process is related to POSC ..goods needs to be moved from bin to work center for packing and from work center to greasing area.
now how the system understand the process steps in this case ? from where we will fetch steps of storage process.
" In inbound process I understand that the storage process information information is coming from warehouse process type. in case of outbound scenario from where system fetching storage process "

Use APN number in /SCWM/RFUI Transaction

We want to use APN number in the ITS transactions /SCWM/RFUI instead of SAP Product Number. We have already maintained APN number in the sapapo/mat1. How can I get APN numbers in all screens of /SCWM/RFUI. Also how can I make the screen to accept APN number?

System creating multiple out bound deliveries for a single purchase order
Hi Dear experts,
We need your help.
While generating out bound delivery for a single purchase order, system was generating multiple out bound deliveries even through items in the purchase order had similar shipping point, delivery date ,etc.Actually based on what aspects out bound deliveries will generated separately for a single PO.
Does the item number in the purchase order will impact in creating the out bound deliveries.
Please suggest.
