I am prototyping an EWM system and have transferred master data over from the linked ERP system via the CIF. All is fine except that this only created products and I have to manually create warehouse products afterwards.
Is there no standard method to automate or mass create these warehouse products? With 10 products it is fine but what about when thousands are needed for a live system?

can you please tell me which tolerance group to select in case doing a zero difference posting.
Presently given by SAP is HOCH, MITTEL, OPEN, NIEDRIG.
can i go ahead and create new tolearance group with no tolerance.

I am working in the EWM RF development. In EWM, most of the commonly used function module are with the status 'Not released'. As per best practice, it is not suggested to use 'Not released' function module'. Can anyone help whether can we use such FM or any alternative approach avaiable?

I wanted to know that, how to re distribute the data from eWM to ERP?
Example: When I confirm a warehouse Order, GR Interface will be sent back from eWM System to ERP. In case, If we delete those queues in SMQ1/SMQ2 TCode, How to re dritribure those data again to ERP?
I know that, we can reverse GR and Redo GR again. However, I wanted to know the option with out modifying the data, how to distribute?

Hi All,
We have a requirement where we need to create inbound delivery from non sap system in EWM.
The main reason is to upload or take stock from non sap system but not from ECC.
So we want to use SAP EWM - Non SAP connection option and need to create inbound delivery with out sending or
checking ECC system so that we can put away the stock in EWM.
Can this scenerio be achieved with standard ALE setting given as we dont have any option for inbound delivery creation using IDOC or use PI Proxy to get the data and create inbound delivery .

I'm looking for any pointers/checklist to keep in mind when implementing multiple OSS notes in EWM.
We are looking to implement Warehouse Monitor Performance OSS notes like
Note 1786643 - /SCWM/MON: Loading Workload per Route performance issue
Note 1780488 - Performance issue during aggregated quantity calculation
Note 1907536 - /SCWM/MON: Memory leak during handling unit selection
Note 1900368 - PERF: time out when selecting many deliveries in monitor
Note 1845817 - Full table scan on /SCDL/DB_DLVI_O during workload selection
Note 1798762 - Performance in PI progress for uncounted storage bins
Note 1788809 - /SCWM/MON: Calculation of the packaging status is slow
Note 1769616 - Performance when searching for TU activities
Should I be careful about the order in which they go into production? Anything I should look out for in general when implementing OSS notes.
Note: Not looking for transaction codes/method to implement an OSS note, just generic guidelines
We have migrated from ECC WM to EWM 9.0. Is there a way to manage the open documents (like deliveries and shipments) that were created in ECC prior to connecting EWM?

Is there any transaction code or program through which we can create products in mass in EWM after they are replicated to EWM through CIF.
After material master is CIF from ECC to EWM, product has to be created in EWM through /N/SCWM/MAT1 transaction before we are able to use the product further in EWM.
How to create the same in mass.

Hi Experts,
I am using CFM1 and CFM2 to transfer master data such as: material master , Customer, Vendor) from ERP(ECC 6.0 into EWM7.0.
In ERP, these master data has Description in Chinese, but after transfer into EWM, these Chinese characters all display in '#####'.
Who can advise how to transfer Chinese characters from ERP into EWM via CIF?

Upon confirmation of warehouse task , stock type in EWM gets changed from F1, F2 ie from Unrestricted-Use in Putaway to Unrestricted-Use in Warehouse .
But posting change is not getting triggered at ECC side to flip storage location from ROD, to AFS. Attached screen shot for your kind reference.

while execution of outbound process, while releasing the wave system has generated warehouse task.
based on search sequence system has proposed source bin and final destination storage type is determined from wave(9020).
source bin is assigned to activity area and this activity area is linked to Warehouse order creation rule.
in warehouse order creation rule I have assigned storage process. In the warehouse task system has determined storage process and first step of storage process i.e.OB01.
my expectation is the first storage process step is picking task and system should propose the destination storage type as 8030(workcenter)
my understanding is system should replace the destination storage type 9020 with 8030.
when i check warehouse order logs i could see the following messages:
Destination data for 1 WTs must be changed -Message no. /SCWM/WHO069 (green)
No destination storage type exists for work center determination - Message no. /SCWM/UI_PACKING144 (yellow)
Destin. data for 1 WTs not changed due to incorrect bin determination - Message no. /SCWM/WHO070 (yellow)
Can some one throw some light where I am missing logic..and how to correct this?

Hi,
I have a general question about BP in EWM.
I have a plant number and send from ERP to EWM with CIF and it is found in Location Type 1000.
But i am not able to find plant in Party entitled to dispose while maintaining Product master wareshouse.
So my question is that it is mandatory to maintain Business Partner for plant in EWM to use it as party entitled to dispose ?
If it the Case, do i need to maintain all Vendors and Customers as BP in EWM ?
or there is any other way so that system create same record in BP as External Vendor R/3 ?

I am executing Pick Pack & Pass scenario as given in EWM-120. When I attempt to create WTs from ODO, I am able to create 3 WTs and only one WO whereas as per given settings, system is expected to create 4 WOs and 3 WTs.
Simulating WO creation with given PPHL WOCR, I see the following messages:
For the current warehouse order creation rule PPHL, you want the system to create warehouse orders of category Pick, pack, and pass.
However, because no “activity areas for dividing in Customizing” (link to click) are assigned to activity area, this rule cannot be used.
Note: The customizing link given in message takes me to the path where I have done correct config as per given config set up.
Is there anything that I am missing, I have verified twice, config was done as given in 120.

Hi Friends,
In our production system there is an Issue with outbound deliveries from ECC are not distirbuted to EWM within time. It take longer time to get replicated in EWM. For just one delivery /SCWM/OUTB_DLV_SAVEREPLICA takes up to 3 minutes in peak times to distribute the Outbound delivery from ECC to EWM.
Any help on this?

ERP Integration --> Delivery Processing --> Define ERP Document Types for Differentiation Attribute does not have much option. Do we?
