SAP integration with Kardex 's WM Powerpick : With PI / Without PI

Just wondering if anybody could give me some tips about SAP integration with Kardex 's WM Powerpick software.


Which is best way to integrate with PI or directly with Kardex via IDoc.

Problems with sending GR posting to ERP

Hello,

 

When i press GR button (/scwm/prdi) in EWM for inbound delivery Goods Reciept status changing from Not Started to Completed with no errors. But when i perform stock overview (mmbe) in ERP stock remain in status On-Order Stock.

 

Smq2 in ERP system contain no "delayed" queues.

 

So, could you please recommend some methods how can i trace posting transfer from EWM to ERP? Or what setting should i check to fix this problem?

automatic deterimination of storage type / section / bin in POSC control

Hi,

 

In process oriented storage control how the system determines the intermediate destination storage bin automatically based on check box activation of Rules-based indicator.(coniser the process of putaway)

 

On what parameters system is trying to find destination bin.

 

from libreary i can see determination is done based on specific rules and no much information which rules it is considering.

Could not determine EWM stock data

Hi Experts,

 

When I successfully created Inbound delivery for PO in ERP for Good Receiving, the inbound was transferred into EWM via qRFC. However the Inbound delivery was failed to be created in EWM with below error :

 

Could not determine EWM stock data for: Availability Group SEWM 101 FF N

Message no. /SCWM/ERPINTEGRATION112

 

I checked my configuration for Availability Group, seems all are done.

How to do unpick of quantity after doing picking in delivery item

Hi Experts,

 

    I am in abap and I got the requirement where I need to do the unpick of the picked quantity for an delivery item and after the unpick it should get updated back in delivery.Please suggest me by technical point of view. how can I meet this requirement?Please suggest.Thanks!!

in RFUI transaction code while doing packing ending with error "E: Select a valid work center"

While doing packing with RFUI menu I ended with error message as after providing input with work center ended with error message as "E: Select a valid work center". There is no error message number any clue?

Planned Duration of Warehouse task

Hi,

 

I have configured the planned duration parameters for Warehouse task creation under path (EWM -> Cross process settings -> WT -> Define planned duration of movements in Warehouse), in order to determine the planned completion date/time according to the source storage type from which the stock is picked, when the Warehouse task is created.

 

 

But when I released the wave, warehouse tasks are not created with the planned completion date/time as mentioned under the above path stated. Instead the planned completion date/time is determined from the departure date/time from yard mentioned in the ODO.

 

Basically I want to calculate the time taken for the Warehouse order according to the summation of planned duration time of Warehouse tasks (as defined in the above path) associated with that Warehouse Order.

 

Could you please suggest..?

POSC outbound no automatic WT creation

Hi Experts,

 

I have some questions regarding the configuration of outbound POSC if anyone can kindly throw some light.

 

Outbound POSC is determined by WOCR, I have done the following but still only one WT was created:

1. Configured storage control OUT1 with step(Pick, Pack, Stage, Load)

2. Assign the storage process to WOCR for the activity areas where each process step taken place.

 

Could anyone throw some light on what logic have I be missing? I supposed the above storage process will create 3 WT?

Inbound delivery quantity is not reduced in ERP system

After distribution of the ERP inbound delivery to eWM system - goods receipt done with correction. Consider I am distributing quantity of 100 pcs from ERP to eWM system.

 

goods receipt correction was done for 20 pcs with process code I001.

Now the inbound delivery item quantity is updated with quantity as 80.

 

Corresponding ERP inbound delivery posting is failed. The quantity in inbound delivery line item is not updated with adjusted quantity.

 

the idoc which has triggered from eWM is carryoing the quantity of 100 pcs only.

 

Any idea how to correct the situation?

HU is not proposed automatically in process step OB01

During creation of warehouse task for picking system is not proposing source HU.

 

Storage type is maintained with Level of Avail. Qty as Highest-Level HU,

 

Control for HU picking is maintained as Propose Source HU as Destination HU.

 

Is there any additional settings needs to be maintained?

IN POSC outbound process I have a query.

 

 

While creation of the warehouse task for the process step OB01 how the destination bin is determined?

 

Storage process : OUT1

Steps: OB01, OB02, OB03

EWM POSC put away

Hi There,

 

I have created an Inbound Delivery in ECC and am using IDN & ID in EWM to do the complex put away. I am using IB01, IB02 & IB03 and have configured the setting for POSC using rule based for IB01 and IB02.

 

I am getting the following errors.

 

1. While configuring, I was not able to do 3065 (unloading with HU) for IB01. Instead I had used 3065 WPT

2. The IDN status is displayed in red color.

3. On creating ID, the ID number is generated, the status is again in red color (Locked).

4. WPT 1011 is being determined , but the staging area & the bin are not determined.

5. I am doing the packing in EWM, but the packed HUs are not visible when I am doing the follow up activities and creating a Ware house Task. The message is "There are no unpacked or packed warehouse request items for processing"

 

Kindly suggest what I need to do.

Batch Problem in EWM(Batch Valuation does not exist)

Dear Experts,

 

I have a Batch Problem in EWM,

 

Step1. Transfer Material,Characteristic and Class to EWM-OK

Step2.  Create Batch for Product in EWM - OK

 

 

I can't Display this batch characteristics in EWM,

Show the message Batch Valuation does not exist.


Please check the figures as below:

I can Change This Batch Characteristics in EWM,

and I key in Characteristic Value12 in EWM.

When I save this characteristic, it's still show's blank in EWM ,

But I can see the Value in ERP

I have check data integration in EWM and ERP,

 

Problem:

1. How can I display characteristics in the product for batch? How to solve the messageBatch Valuation does not exist in EWM

2. I can change characteristics value in the product for batch.After save the characteristic,it's show blank in EWM

    But I can see the characteristics value in ERP.

Packing by Work Center Report - Fetch pack center data for completed WTs

Hi All,

 

In the pack by work center report (MON->Outbound->Process->WIP->PACKING by Work Center) I need to add a new field 'Available to Pack'. This field will have the quantity which is packed and is in Inbound packing station, ready to get packed. The standard report fetches only those records (from /SCWM/WRKL table) which are not fully picked. But I need to also display the pack centers for which the WTs are completely picked.

 

For eg: if in a wave there are 3 ODOs and totally there are 6 items, out of those 5 times should go to pack center PA10 and 1 item to PA40. If I pick all the 5 items that should go to PA10 then the report is not showing record for items in PA10, it only shows the item in PA40. The requirement is I also need to show the items for the wave in PA10 so that I can display how many are available to pack in PA10.

 

 

How to do this? Please help.

Automatic Pack in Inbound process

Hi,

 

While working with pack specification I encountered with one error in inbound process.

Process scenario is as followed.

The each of product is packed into a packaging material which creates a HU(small box).

subsequently each 10 PCS of above HU's are packed into another HU(Pallet).

packaging specification is maintained with two levels.

ERP system I have created inbound delivery of 12 quantity and distributed to eWM system.

in eWM system according to packaging specification system has generated two HU's.

first top HU - 1000 contains ten low level HU's and second top HU 1001 contains two low level HU's.(worked as expected)

after confirmation of unloading task goods are available at staging area and new 2 tasks are generated.

source is staging area and destination is final bin.

Here system has created two new HU's for two tasks. ( do not know why this was happened?). Ideally the source and destination HU should be 1000 and 1001 for individual task.

when I check any one of the new HU system is taking to me HU details screen and I can see that

top HU is 1001 and low level HU's are new Handling Units.

when I tried to confirm the final putaway task system is throwing error as HU xxxxxxxxxx has a reserved quantity; HU withdrawl not possible

and from monitor when I click on HU details I have my own HU's 1000 and 1001. 1000 HU is with 10 low level HU's and 1001 is

with two low level HU's.

RF second part of task handling

Dear All

In RF picking ( System guided mode) , Product  task is confirmed from  the source to Resource 1  and the Handling Unit is with Resource 1.

Resource 1 couldn't  complete the task , hence he triggers F7 and leaves the remaining work to the common pool by confirming YES in the pop-up.

 

Now the supervisor wants to assign the open HU task  to Resource 2 for completion. Open task still displays  Resource 1 in the source information and when Resource 2 tries to execute, an error message appears  (E Content of WT xxx is located on resource " Resource 1").

 

Expectation is if he confirms the pending task to common pool  then it shall be executed by any other resource.

Storage type creation

I have very basic question. need a detailed clarity.

 

When I am checking the document for ware house structure (from best business practices) I noticed rack storage for small parts.

 

Bin characteristics says 1 europallet per bin. Storage type characteristics says HU is not allowed.


If HU is not allowed for the storage type - how a pallet is placed in the storage bin?


to me both are contradictory statements. can any one throw some idea..

 

your help is very much appreciated.



Configuring PPF actions for printing inbound delivery (Production Order process)

Hi All

 

Please help/guide me to configure PPF actions for printing inbound delivery. I have made configurations but that is not getting triggered when I create an inbound delivery.

 

Configurations made:

TCode - SPPFCADM

Application - /SCDL/DELIVERY

 

Define Action Profile and Actions:

Action Profile: /SCWM/PDI_01

Action: /SCWM/PDI_01_UNLOAD_LIST_PRINT

Processing Type: SmartFormPrint (Using form /SCWM/LOAD_INSTR, class /SCWM/CL_PROCESSING_SMARTFORM, method PROCESS_UNLOAD_SMART_FORM)

 

Condition configuration:

Scheduling condition: /SCWM/PDI_PRINT_UNLOAD

 

Test Steps followed:

ECC:-

Created Production Order and released it.

EWM:-

Created EGR for Prod.Ord.

Created inbound delivery from EGR.

 

 

Please correct where I am going wrong.
