Pack spec for the product is maintained as below.
20 pcs of product is packed into Cartoon and 1 pallet is holding 5 Cartoons. Sales order unit of measure is Cartoon and purchase order unit of measure is pallet.
I have created purchase order and subsequently delivery. This delivery is distributed to eWM system. According to the pack spec 1 TOP HU( pallet) and there are 5 low level HU(cartoons) got generated.
According to the putaway strategy one storage bin holds the TOP HU and corresponding low level HU's.
from inbound point of view is working as per expectation.
I have created a sales order for 2 Cartoons and subsequently a delivery got created and distributed to eWM system. ( requested quantity is Cartoon).
when I created the task for picking process system has proposed source bin and source HU as the TOP HU.
When I tried to create+save the warehouse task system system is referring to provide low level HU and pick HU details ( correct).
Here I am creating a dummy HU ( and trying to pick both 2 lower level HU) into pick HU.
After creation of ware house task when I check the pick HU details there are no low level HU's. ( I am expecting the pick HU should contain two low level HU's.).
When I create two HU's manually and at that instance system is allowing to move the pick HU''s into new HU's.
Is it the case we are using Pick HU is only used for picking purpose without HU details and move the quantity to work center and there we need to pack the goods ?
am I missing any configuration settings including pick HU logic?

Hi All,
We have a requirement where we need to create inbound delivery from non sap system in EWM.
The main reason is to upload or take stock from non sap system but not from ECC.
So we want to use SAP EWM - Non SAP connection option and need to create inbound delivery with out sending or
checking ECC system so that we can put away the stock in EWM.
Can this scenerio be achieved with standard ALE setting given as we dont have any option for inbound delivery creation using IDOC or use PI Proxy to get the data and create inbound delivery .

When I was creating the Product in EWM (/n/scwm/mat1 ) system is not showing the Party Entitle to Dispose in Drill down .
I have Checked the tables /SAPAPO/LOC and /SAPAPO/LOCMAP and found that - Three are two entries for my plant with two Locations like PLCBLR and SUCBLR.
I believe the above this the issue in not showing the plant while creating the product master . Could any one tell me why it is showing twice ?? and Why not it is showing the same for my plant while creating the product master ? Am I missing any Configuration assignments ?

I have a very basic question. Currently I am working on the business scenario's as mentioned below.
For the flow of IDOCs from SAP to 3rd party warehouse we will use standard SAP Idocs.
Now my very basic query is that what is the SAP transaction through which I can see standard SAP IDocs to be used for inbound and outbound delivery?
I searched SCN for Idoc for outbound delivery and came to know I can use message type DESADV and IDoc type DELVRY03. Now my query is what is the difference between message type and Idoc type and how can I search in system which message type and Idoc type to use for a scenario?

While working with pack specification I encountered with one error in inbound process.
Process scenario is as followed.
The each of product is packed into a packaging material which creates a HU(small box).
subsequently each 10 PCS of above HU's are packed into another HU(Pallet).
packaging specification is maintained with two levels.
ERP system I have created inbound delivery of 12 quantity and distributed to eWM system.
in eWM system according to packaging specification system has generated two HU's.
first top HU - 1000 contains ten low level HU's and second top HU 1001 contains two low level HU's.(worked as expected)
after confirmation of unloading task goods are available at staging area and new 2 tasks are generated.
source is staging area and destination is final bin.
Here system has created two new HU's for two tasks. ( do not know why this was happened?). Ideally the source and destination HU should be 1000 and 1001 for individual task.
when I check any one of the new HU system is taking to me HU details screen and I can see that
top HU is 1001 and low level HU's are new Handling Units.
when I tried to confirm the final putaway task system is throwing error as HU xxxxxxxxxx has a reserved quantity; HU withdrawl not possible
and from monitor when I click on HU details I have my own HU's 1000 and 1001. 1000 HU is with 10 low level HU's and 1001 is
with two low level HU's.

When i am trying to create a Warehouse Task with an inbound delivery, the system is throwing an error as this.
I maintained necessary strategies.
When we see the error, system is able to determine my storage type, but some where i am missing the master data.
I have maintained the HU type in product master data.

I am trying to execute process oriented storage control steps . kindly refer below screen shots of steps followed.
As below my storage process has 3 steps , Unload - IB01 , Deconsolidate- IB02 , Putaway- IB03 .
My requirement is to complete 3 steps in sequence thereby confirming final inventory to storage bin.
First step IB01 "unload" in storage process worked correctly as below .
When creating task to move HU i am getting error.
I have defined consolidation group as below .
My Query's are as below.
1. Why system is directing inventory to destination bin as it should be executing storage process step2: IB02 and inventory should have been directing to deconsolidation work center.
2. I have defined consolidation group but error persists.
Kindly guide me on error , please let me know if you need any further information.

Dear EWM Gurus,
Is there a way we can create Inbound Delivery in EWM directly (without having an ERP system in place)?
I am having EWM system only and need to test few things around goods movement withing Warehouse and Yard activities.
I have tried to create ID directly in EWM in /SCWM/PRDI, it failed because VL60 from ERP will be called.
Same is the case with using EGR.
Is there a way I can trurn off all RFC calls made to ERP and proceed with Inbound Delivery creation in EWM alone?

In the RF Framework we use method set_ltrans (of class (/SCWM/CL_RF_BLL_SRVC) to dynamically jump between different logical transactions. However in this method the statement CALL TRANSACTION is called. Every time this is done a new gui session is opened. Therefore after the 6th or 7th call (depending on the actual setting of the system) the RF Framework stops with error message "Maximum number of internal sessions".
Can anyone please advise how to avoid this error? Is there an error in the above mentioned method?

Step1. Transfer Material,Characteristic and Class to EWM-OK
Step2. Create Batch for Product in EWM - OK
I can't Display this batch characteristics in EWM,
Show the message Batch Valuation does not exist.
Please check the figures as below:
I can Change This Batch Characteristics in EWM,
and I key in Characteristic Value12 in EWM.
When I save this characteristic, it's still show's blank in EWM ,
But I can see the Value in ERP
The characteristics value disapper, after I click save button.
ERP system can show's value 12 that I Key in
I have check data integration in EWM and ERP,
Problem:
1. How can I display characteristics in the product for batch? How to solve the messageBatch Valuation does not exist in EWM
2. I can change characteristics value in the product for batch.After save the characteristic,it's show blank in EWM
But I can see the characteristics value in ERP.

Hi,
We are using ECC 6.0 and it is connected to the SCM 7.0.
We do use EWM funcationality and for that we need to update the two
tabs (MM01) i.e. WM Execution and WM Package.
We are unable to find these tabs in the MM01 while maintaining/creation of material (ECC).
Please do suggest what need to be done to acheive this.

In RFUI, Im trying to add a new screen in Receiving HUs section.
For this I created a new screen in the Template and did the relevant config changes .
But I need to create a new Function module to add functionality for this new screen.
My question is : How do I create this new FM? Should I need to create a custom function group?
There is a standard function group . Do I need tro create the new FM here ?
Please suggest.

Once a Loading WT has been confirmed, how do you do the unloading so I can put another item on a already loaded HU (for ODO). Presently it gives the message, HU status does not allow packing (coz' it has been loaded completely). I cannot simple unload. I assume there is a way to create a new Unload WT, but can someone help me with the details

We are in EWM 9.0. In warehouse monitor bin stock available stock we are getting line items with -ve stock along with +ve stock items for the same material in the bin.
WHen we go to to the bin display /scwm/ls03 we get
There is physical stock in the bin and there is open warehouse task with the bin as the destination bin (inbound task)
What is the standard systembehaviour in this case and how to get rid of the -ve stock in warehouse monitor.

Dear Experts,
When we create Inbound Delivery in ERP, it is getting distributed.
But the IBD is not created in EWM.
We checked in SLG1 and the deliveries were failed in the queue.
The error message says "No business partner found for ERP partner EWM_TEST (role:LF)".
We have maintained Business partner and IT type = CRM004 in Identification Tab.
Still, no idea how we can solve this issue.
Please suggest with your valuable inputs.

I have two storage location one is Non HU Managed and Other is HU Managed.
I made a inbound delivery in ERP system for SL which is Non HU Managed.
In EWM system, while final Putway, I Post from Available Grp(001 for Non HU Managed Location) to Avl. Grp 002(HU Managed).
In ERP system, if i get inbound Queue, it is showing me error
Data for creating a delivery is incomplete (Vendor)
