Component VASP missing for order document management in VAS_EWM

Hello experts,

 

I am working on VAS Order process. While trying to activate ODM for VAS in IMG-->SCWM-->EWM-->Cross Process Settings-->VAS-->Activate Order Document Management for VAS, I am getting below error-

 

"Component

VASP
The structure of component VASP could not be generated (DDIF_TABL_ACTIVATE)

 

Order Data Area

Order component VASP specified (status active: 'X') does not exist"

 

When I go to SCM Basis-->Order document Management-->Check settings in Order Document Management I get additional information about error-

 

"The component is inactive

Component VASP contains change mode (OBJCHG)

Structure /SCWM/S_VAS_ODM_AUX does not contain all administration fields

Table type /SCWM/TT_VAS_ODM_AUX uses structure /SCWM/S_VAS_ODM_AUX"

 

 

Any pointers will be appreciated.

SAP EWM und Plant Connectivity: Performance?

Dear experts,

 

we are currently preparing for an internal project to implement SCM-EWM with EWM-MFS. We need to interface conveyor as well as high-rack shelf systems. I've already analyzed the current TCP/IP (socket-based) traffic between the control systems and the legacy system. Once again I'm afraid SAP will be too slow.

I've searched many pages but haven't found any indication yet what the standard response time of the material flow control component in combination with PCo is. Scenario: SAP SCM-EWM Server 10 meters away from the conveyor (meaning "no" network delay), Release 7.02, PCo 2.2 connecting to one conveyor controller. No other system load. Telegram of controller saying "I've read SSCC barcode <xyz>". SAP responding: "Send SSCC <xyz> to conveyor area <ABC>". I'm interested in the typical time in ms between these two telegrams.

 

Any practical experience in that area?

Storage Type change /SCWM/LS02

     Quick question. Is it possible to change storage type for a storage bin using transaction /SCWM/LS02?

Is there any config that needs to change to achieve this change?

IBGI not getting triggered immediately after OD creation

Hi

 

System is not generating the IBGI(in ECC) immediately after OD creation even though doc type settings are set for this to happen.

But please note that the HU information is getting updated on outbound delivery in ECC.

Please note that when I set the Billing Req.Ty to "B Billing Document on Request" system is generating invoice in ECC.

So I believe all the pre-requisite settings are in place. But to mention them I did following setting in ECC & EWM. Please let me know if I missing something.

ECC:

1. Logistics Execution -> Extended Warehouse Management Integration -> Billing Settings -> Determine Invoice Before Goods Issue (IBGI) Indicator

Here I maintained IBGI relevancy as "D- Allowed but not Mandatory" for my sales document type & Sales org

2. Logistics Execution -> Transportation ->Basic Transportation Functions -> Output Control -> Define Print Profiles; Here defined a print profile ensuring that the naming convension is same as that of the profile in EWM. Also assinged application V3 to this print profile.

3. Logistics Execution -> Extended Warehouse Management Integration -> Billing Settings -> Assign Output Types and Printer to Print Profiles

Here assigned the output type with print profile defined in step-2 above

 

EWM:

1. Extended Warehouse Management -> Interfaces -> ERP Integration -> General Settings -> Set Control Parameters for ERP Version Control

here selected the option Invoice before goods issue possible.

2. Extended Warehouse Management -> Goods Issue Process -> Outbound Delivery -> Manual Settings -> Define Document Types for Outbound Delivery Process; Here in required document type of doc.cat FDO choosen option " A Billing Document Immediately"

3. Extended Warehouse Management -> Goods Issue Process -> Outbound Delivery ->Print -> Define Print Profiles for Delivery Processing

Here created a print profile whose naming convesion is same as that of the one created in ECC-step-2. Also in the print profile data defined setting for action "TRIG_INVOICE"

4. Extended Warehouse Management -> Goods Issue Process -> Outbound Delivery ->Print -> Define Print Profile Determination for Goods Issue Process

Here defined the above print profile for our Whse

EWM: delivery note which triggerred by movement type 551

Hi experts,

we use EWM， when do movement type 551, system will generate delivery note ( DN Type: DOG ,item category :DOGN), but i can not find the delivery in CO09, and table :VBBE;  if use movement type 309, the delivery can be find in CO09 and table VBBE;  is it a configuration issue? how can make delivery note which triggerred by movement type 551 avaible in VBBE/co09 ?  Thank you !

Use of Business System in EWM

I am not clear on why we need a Business System in EWM (SCM)  but there's none in ECC.

Can anyone pls elaborate on this.

EWM PI Creation Error - No items Passed on

HI,

 

While creating the physical inventory document with the PI process (HL- Ad-hoc Physical Inventory (Storage-Bin-Specific)), getting following error

 

No items passed on

 

I have checked number range, activity area assignment and sorting and everything is in place.

Please suggest if somebody have faced same kind of problem before.

Warehouse Task creation per HU in Picking from Bulk Storage

Hi Experts,


Picking Scenario per Warehouse Order based on HU one Warehouse Task should be created.

 

 

Configured the WOCR based on

 

Per for Item - One WO

 

Per one WO - Limits and filters are set

 

in Limits defined - Max WTs per HU is one

 

Packing profile also maintain, and packaging specification is set up at two levels. HU creation is at second level of pack spec as per quality classification of pallet.

 

But still the system is created one WO with one WT for all pallets.

 

Kindly suggest where my config is missing.

QIE: No possibility to enter custom finding attribute values

I want to use IOT5 for inspection of goods in the warehouse. I have configured it to a point, where i am able to set a finding code. I want to record an additional attribute in the finding to later use it in the followup action.

 

SAP provides the structure QIE_TS_FIND_ATTR and states in the documentation that this can be used to append fields in order to display/change them.

 

When i add a field to the structure, it appears in the customizing and also the database table for the finding.

 

 

But: It does not appear in either /SCWM/QIDPR r /SCWM/QINSP to be used for entering values.

 

Am I missing some kind of customizing or implementation necessity ?

Error while creating PMR document in EWM 9.2(production integration)

Hi,

 

I am working on Advanced Production Integration in EWM9.2. I have done the configuration as per SAP config document in ERP and EWM. Have created Process order and performed staging. The document is getting distributed to EWM but getting stuck in the queue. I am unable to find the reason for same. SLG1 is also showing the below error only.

 

"Document $1 does not contain any items; not possible to save

An error occurred when saving the document"

 

Any help would be great.

EWM : Error message in the in Inbound Queue

During the creation of Inbound delivery in EWM through QRFC..the queue is stuck with an error message

" Error accessing product data administration "Message no. /SCDL/AF032""..Please let me know if you have seen this issue earlier.

 

ECC: Inbound delivery is created

QRFC: Stuck in the queue and error message can be seen through SMQ2 transaction

EWM: No IBN created because of the errored queue

PS: Is there a way to create a new section for EWM queries so that they do not get mixed up with regular WM issues ?

Automate Setting of Process Code for Inbound deliveries in EWM

I am finding a solution to automate the process of Setting Process code  for Inbound Deliveries in EWM for which we have not received for more than specific time .

Is there any standard functionality available to do this for MASS number of Deliveries to save the manual hours.

GR Reversal in EWM

Hi EWM Gurus,

 

My Scenario, I completed my Unloading Task and after which GR is completed.

 

System created auto Putaway Task.

 

Now I want to reverse the GR. I cancelled the Putaway Task.

 

And tried GR Reversal its not happening.

 

Error: Delivery XX Item xx: Putaway WT created (cancellation/reversal not poss.)

 

Kindly let  me know how can I reverse the GR.

Route as Limiting criteria during Order creation

Hi All,

 

 

I am new to EWM.

 

Can anybody please tell me if we can add 'Route' as limiting criteria while creating order using  EWM configuration.

I see different parameters like min-max height, weight, volume, number of HUs but route is not there.

SAP EWM - Outbound Delivery(/SCWM/PRDO) - Disable options within "Subitem" button

Hi Gurus,

 

I have requirement to disable the "Subitem" button on the Items tab in the outbound delivery in SAP EWM system based on specific condition.

The "Subitem" is a drop down button that has 2 options "Create Batch Subitem" and "Create Subitem for Outbound Deliv. Split".

 

By debugging the available Enhancement spots, BADI's and Classes I found that the "Subitem" button cannot be programmatically disabled

hence I am thinking of generating a error message to stop the user to split the batch when the user selects the other 2 options in the drop down of the "Subitem" button. I have found a enhancement spot (/SCDL/SP), which is only for SAP internal use. This enhancement has the checks while splitting the batch in outbound delivery. Also there is a class (/SCMB/CL_TOOLBAR), method (on_dropdown_clicked), in this we can disable the 2 options "Create Batch Subitem" and "Create Subitem for Outbound Deliv. Split" but in that class the outbound delivery details are not flowing.

 

I have also included screen shot of the outbound delivery showing the "Subitem" button with the 2 options "Create Batch Subitem" and "Create Subitem for Outbound Deliv. Split"

 

Please let me know your inputs if you have any.

SAP EWM - Message no. SR053 - Function module "" not found.

Hi

 

In ECC i have created PO(me21n) and IBD(vl31n), this IBD is not moving to the EWM system

I am getting the following error in ECC for the t.code SMQ2

 

Function module "" not found.

Message no. SR053

 

I have done the full configuration moved the masters to the EWM system from ECC, but having issues with the transactions

Attached the screen shot for the error

Cross Docking Query

Dear Experts,

 

Inbound Driven - EWM Opp. Cross Docking.

 

 

On Inbound Delivery creation my first task is Unloading WT getting created, on confirmation of Unloading WT the Goods Receipt is triggered.

 

Due to the Unloading Task created initially the EWM Inbound Opp, Cross Docking is not getting triggered.

 

My Query, before goods receipts if any task created for the Inbound Delivery will the Cross Docking trigger (or) not

 

Kindly suggest...

Error in IBD from ERP

Hello Experts ,

 

Looking for your help in known issue

 

The IBD is distributed properly from ERP. However, it is not created the IBDN in EWM system . When i checked SMQ2 log , it says " No Unique partner found for plant ZXXX. "

 

I have checked the BP . it is having the BP role  : BBP0000 ( vendor ) and ID Type CRM011 and Identification number ERP Plant code , Resp. Ins: is ERP client details .

 

 

 

/SAPAPO/LOC and /SAPAPO/LOCMAP tables . The data for plant is showing correctly . ( unique data record )

 

Dont know where is missing . Looking for your help
