EWM Auto create pick HU for each Task on a Warehouse order

Dear Experts

 

We've got a specific need for EWM to automatically create Pick HU's for multiple tasks on 1 warehouse order.

 

Packspecs are maintained, with HU creation tick on in the packspec.

HU creation is also ticked in the packaging profile, as well as the "Assign HU's to WT's" tick.


But, the system only creates 1 pick HU for Warehouse Orders with more than 1 task. (system creates a task for each level qty of the packspec)


Any idea why the system does not create the other HU's? Any idea where I can look further? Cannot determine the issue from the log during WO creation.

Count and Quality Insp work centres not working as expected

Hi all

 

I have configured POSC steps for a warehouse but the Count and Quality ins are not working as expected :-

 

Count tab shows

"Counting as part of quality inspection is not relevant"

EGR - Mfg. Date & Shelf Life Date

Hello Experts,

 

We are using EGR for creating inbound delivery in EWM system.

 

During Inbound delivery creation system batch is getting created but fields like manufacture date and Expiry date fields are greyed out.

 

So were are unable to update the characteristics for the product in batch .

 

How to enable Manufacture Date & Expiry Date in EGR screen to input the values .

EWM - Issue assigning Inbound Delivery to TU

Hi All,

 

When i assign a Transportation Unit(TU) to an Inbound Delivery(ID), i am getting this error message:

 

"Transport planning data of TU 200000001556 and delivery 7712 do not match"

Message no. /SCWM/SHP_RCV545

 

I have created the TU and marked it "Inbound". Even though i mentioned the same means of transport in both TU and ID, the system still gives me the same error.

 

Anything else that i need to check to get rid of this message?

Warehouse task not creating automatically after completion of Deconsolidation step

Hi EWM Gurus

 

I have tried to set up a POSC for a warehouse but till deconsolidation step, i was able to get the auto warehouse tasks but as soon as i complete the deconsolidation step(HU step Completed), i am not able to get the any warehouse task which should be created automatically. Can you please guide where to look into for resolving this issue ?

Hello Expert

   One of our user posted Inventory difference with /SCWM/DIFF_ANALYZER but transaction did not made to ERP (ECC) system. Does anyone know what could be the root cause? I checked system log SLG1 in eWM and ECC could not find any error.

User Exits for Materials Master (Picking with RF Guns)

Hello guys,

 

I have a requirement that I need to program but I'm new to EWM. We are implementing SAP in our company and for the warehouses, we are using EWM. So basically, our picker have RF guns and they use it to scan the items and pick.

Now in one of our warehouses, we have old material numbers on the products. We have 2 options to fix this, we can spend a lot of money to re-labelling the warehouse or option 2, we can find a User-Exit to use to convert the old material number to the SAP material number.

 

Now what I think should be possible to do is when a picker scan the item (old material number), it should hit a User-Exit which will check if its a material number in SAP master data and if its not, then it should go to a Custom ZTable where we would have defined old material number to match the new SAP material number and it should return this new material number to the RF Gun.

 

Now my question is, is there a User-Exit we can use for this and what will be the name of the User-Exit. Will this needs to be programmed in EWM?

Hi ,

 

Do we have to create packaging material in ERP and then CIF it to ECC ?

 

I mean can't we create it directly in EWM and use it without creating it in ECC .

I have configured PI settings but when I am trying to do create the PI Document I am getting Errors:

EWM wave warehouse task creation error

Hi experts,


I'm trying to execute the release withdrawal for a wave in EWM but the system is not creation the warehouse tasks.


As you can see below, the system informed us that 3 warehouse tasks were created, but actually they were not.

The reason is because for one of them item the system could not find source storage bin.

 

Could you please help me fix this error??

Unable to get destination bin with Pick pack & Pass scenario(user driven WOCR)

Hello EWM experts,

 

 

I am setting up the system to test the Pick Pack and Pass scenario as we have conveyors that carry the Pick HUs(totes) to the picking stations. 

 

I am able to create Warehouse orders(Parent and child) along with Pick HUs(Totes) now, but when I confirm the picking tasks on RF, the destination bin that shows up on the RF screen is not the bin of that activity area but the packing work center.  

 

Packing is the next step after after all the picking is completed (all sub warehouse orders are confirmed) in POSC. 

 

I am expecting that user be allowed to scan the destination bin of the picking station after picking is completed in that picking station so that the same tote(Pick HU) can then be taken by the conveyor to the next picking station. 

 

Am I missing something?

Debug Material MasterERP(R/3) to EWM(Product Master)

Hi,

 

I have created Material master in ERP and trying to transfer to EWM.

 

As my understand tRFC will be used to transfer the data but I wanted to debug R/3 to EWM.

 

I tried with external session break point(in target system) and done the debug setting(in calling R/3) TRFC block sending.

 

However I could not debug in EWM from R/3.

 

 

Please advise.

PPF Action not triggering in warehouse order

Hi all ,

 

I am  working on ppf  actions.My  requirement is   print warehouse order  at the time of  warehouse order confirmation.

 

I have done the following configuration.

 

1. define condition table

2.define access seq

3.define  cond type

4.define determination procedure

5.assign determination procedure

6.create cond maintaince group

7.define ppf action profile-- /scwm/wo

8. define action defination-/wo_single

9. define  ppf conditions

 

When  i try to  print warehouse order , getting  error.I have  attached screen shot of   error  and  condition record maintained .
