How to create automatic HU Warehouse Task for Pick HU

Hi Gurus,

 

In my scenario I am creating Picking task and then I am using packing profile to create Pick HU at a different location.

 

I can create Pick HU as soon as Picking task is getting created.

 

Now I need a HU warehouse task to be created immediately for my Pick HU from its location(HU starting Bin) to the destination Bin of the Picking task created.

 

Is there is any standard way available in EWM for the Pick HU warehouse task creation.

 

Example :

Picking Task created -

 

Source  Bin                        --          Destination Bin

Picking_Task_Start_point01  ---> Packing Workcenter01

Picking_Task_Start_point02  ---> Packing Workcenter01

 

 

Pick HU Created -

 

 

PICKHU001  ---> Storage_Bin_01

 

 

Requirement :: -->

 

Automatic HU Warehouse task for Pick HU - > PICKHU001

 

Source  Bin                                                --          Destination Bin

Picking_Task_PICKHU001_Storage_Bin_01  ---> Packing Workcenter01

 

Once it is created , Pick HU warehouse task can be confirmed to the Packing Workcenter01 and then picking task can also be confirmed .

Please suggest if it can be achieved by customizing .

Putaway Scenario

My Client is creating new parts in ECC and transferring in EWM, New parts are put-away to the General Storage Type. Location Maintenance team shall update the Product Master of these parts assigning the correct Storage Type to these products at later stage. Using adhoc movements these parts are binned in the correct bins. How can i map this scenario in EWM.

Putaway Search sequence

Hello Experts,

 

I have two putaway search sequence

1) Warehouse, WPT, search sequence

2) Warehouse,PACI,WPT,Search sequence

 

Product master has PACI maintained.But everytime ai create a task system is considering generic rule (1st one) instead of looking for more specific one.

Is there a way I can define priority?

Hello Gurus,

 

 

While replication of inbound delivery from ECC to EWM , I am getting the below message .

 

"

Business partner XXX has not been assigned to any role" in tcode PRDI.

 

 

Note:

 

I have maintainedvendor in identification tab in tcode BP .

 

Please help me to resolve this issue.

Deconsolidation in Inbound Delivery

Hello experts,

 

I am working on Complex Inbound Delivery process with Stage, deconsolidate and final putaway.There could be two scenarios-

 

1) One Inbound Delivery with an HU and two products in it going to different storage type (different deconsolidation group)

 

In this case it should go to deconsolidation and it works as expected.

 

2) One Inbound Delivery with two products going to different storage type (Deconsolidation Group) but packed in two different HU's.Doesn't it make sense to bypass deconsolidation step and put them away directly?

 

In this case also since deconsolidation group is different system is going to deko work center

 

I would like to know if there is a way I can bypass decons. work center with case 2.

Error:Version is already Active; activity "Set Version to Active" not executed (while trying to Reject/Activate Inbound Delivery Notification)

Hello EWM Experts

 

I am trying to set the process code(reject)  for an Inbound delivery distributed from ECC to EWM but its in the Inbound delivery Notification(Act.) status.

I am trying to convert this notification to inbound delivery but getting the above error.Also when I try to reject the delivery ,I get the  error(Activity "Reject Change" is not permitted; reason: status "Version" has value "Active").

I want to close this delivery in ECC with zero qty without having to undistribute the delivery.

Inbound delivery notification is inactive

Hi Experts,

 

For the distributed inbound delivery from ECC, i see the inbound delivery notification is in inactive mode with below error message.

When i try to activate it , throwing below screen shot message. I have verified all the relevant settings for that , but i couldn't find the issue.

Please suggest me what causing the issue

We have the WTs in confirmed status but still the warehouse orders are in process. This WT is for internal warehouse movement.

 

Please throw some light on this issue to get it solved.

Business Partner Issue- CRM004 vendor master

Hi Friends,

 

I am getting an error - ' Assignment of internal <-> external business partner not possible' while posting the Goods Receipt from Inbound Delivery document in SAP EWM. I checked the Vendor #100 , when I tried to maintain the Identification data as CRM004 system is giving errors.

Please help me to correct this.

ERP -EWM Integration

Hi Experts,

 

I am trying to setup the ERP EWM system integration in Sandbox. We have already completed the integration in both ERP & EWM.

 

But inbound delivery is not getting distrubuted from ERP to EWM. When it is tried other existing warehouse, IBD was distributed succesfully.

 

1. Distribution model is generated for the WH.


Please share your thoughts to distribute the delivery.

Batch Problem in EWM(Batch Valuation does not exist)

Dear Experts,

 

I have a Batch Problem in EWM,

 

Step1. Transfer Material,Characteristic and Class to EWM-OK

Step2.  Create Batch for Product in EWM - OK

 

 

I can't Display this batch characteristics in EWM,

Show the message Batch Valuation does not exist.


Please check the figures as below:

I can Change This Batch Characteristics in EWM,

and I key in Characteristic Value12 in EWM.

When I save this characteristic, it's still show's blank in EWM ,

But I can see the Value in ERP


The characteristics value disapper, after I click save button.

I have check data integration in EWM and ERP,

 

Problem:

1. How can I display characteristics in the product for batch? How to solve the messageBatch Valuation does not exist in EWM

2. I can change characteristics value in the product for batch.After save the characteristic,it's show blank in EWM

    But I can see the characteristics value in ERP.

Ob04 final step WT is not created

Hi All,

 

I have Maintain (OB01/OB02/OB03/OB04) is maintain but after staging the Goods a new open task is not opened for loading.

 

Please let me know if any Configuration is missing in storage type or in POSC steps.

Dear Experts,

I have experience in WM, but I am new to EWM. I am learning EWM, i am executing transaction /SCWM/MON- for sap standard Monitoring , it is taking very long time.

I mean it is in initial screen forever and not producing any result or error  or moving forward. Could you please help me to figure out issue over here?

what are things needs to be checked

Issue in Rule based settings for Deconsolidation

Hello Experts,

 

My requirement was to bypass deconsolidation(both from different AA) when two products in a warehouse request are packed in different HU's. I have achieved this using following setup-

 

Rule based indicator in IB02 step and removed destination data

Attributes for deconsolidation set to 1 for Max no of WT for decon.

 

For one of my scenarios system is no more bypassing IB02.It is setting Destination data to deco bin everytime.Attaching the WT log for IB02.

 

Please guide.

WOCR Rule

Hi

 

I have created WOCR Rule But system is taking WOCR rule till limit of weight (0-500 Kg) & and limit (1-5 WT) but if we are creating more than this limit then system taking DEF, system have to create two warehouse orders.

 

I have activated log (attached screenshot)

 

 

Please suggest me.

I just want to know that can we move product  from 1 bin to other bin if there is shortage or excess after performing counting in SAP EWM Physical Inventory.
