We have a situation faced by the client that the time and effort needed take some goods in the warehouse for a certain order is not efficient. This is because the location of the goods in the bin level are far from each other.
Is there a solution in SAP Warehouse Management to this challenge? If yes, then how it works and how to implement this.

I have another question regarding the slotting customizing and simulation.
Always when I try to simulate slotting I get the following message for "Procure requirement data":
Read target stock - step not active
Read requirement quantity - step not active
Read number of sales order items - step not active
I always activate this fields in /SCWM/SLOT but I always get the same answer.
I would be very happy if someone knows why this messages appear.

I am not an expert in EWM but I would like to know if is it a way to Transfer the Routes of ECC to EWM in order to avoid the maintenance of Master Data in both systems?

Is there any standard functionality available to do this for MASS number of Deliveries to save the manual hours.

I have started working on SAP EWM past from 4 months.
I have two doubts in assigning the door to TU.
outbound cycle-
1. In the quality system we will assign any one of the free door (ex. door 1) to the TU But our HU might be in the staging zone which belongs to different door (door 5) But while loading the HU to that particular TU, it will accept- How?
2. The user creates TU and assigns it to the door in the SAP system But how the information will be passed to that particular TU driver about the assigned door.

I've setup a simple MFS in SAP EWM(9.1). My WT is put in the correct MFS queue (without resource management) but it is not automatically processed.
I'm using FM "/scwm/mfs_sim_receive" to test the telegram communication. The WT is assigned to the correct queue but no telegram is sent /created
I've checked with SMQ2 whether there is an error as suggested in here. but there is none.
Below the WT log when manually confirming on the first communication point.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated
I'm trying to create an AD HOC WT for a HU but none is being created and I cant seem to figure out why. The image below shows the log, I don't now how to interpret to figure out what is missing. The parameters on the last line of the log refer to warehouse number, storage type, bin type and HU type. Any help would be much apprecisted

I have created an outbound scenario and created TU in EWM, after loading the material, system is generating IDOC from EWM to ECC which will create shipment in ECC. But IDOC is giving error mentioned below :
I have completed all activities related to IDOC in ECC but i want to now that where do i need to maintain recipients in EWM.

I want to create (and also confirm) a warehouse task automatically (PPF) for a specific HU when Outbound delivery Order is created.
So first, I activated PPF /SCWM/PDO_01_WT_CREATE, which is working as expexted.
Next is BADI implementation for BADI /SCWM/IF_EX_CORE_RMS_DETERMINE~DETERMINE , here I add to QMAT_CUS one entry which there fields filled:
MANDT
LGNUM
LGTYP
LGPLA
HUIDENT
FORFREE = X (while debugging seems to be needed)
GUID_PARENT = HUHDR-GUID_HU
GUID_STOCK = HUITM-GUID_STOCK
MATID (HUITM)
BATCHID (HUITM).
Seems to work, but then I get error saying "Available quantity in bin is zero" --> "System could not determine source storage bin".
Debugged a little more and found that LTAP_VSOLM is 0?
What could be the problem? Or is there a better way to achieve this?

I configured Dynamic Cycle Counting for a client as follows:
I executed a cycle count using LM59 with open TO's. In the my test case I captured a stock difference of one SU but after completing the cycle count I am unable to confirm any open TO's for the storage bin. I thought Dynamic Cycle Counting allows confirmation of existing TO's for the storage bin but blocks creation of new TO's if differences are found during the cycle count.
Please help. Am I missing some config?

I see different parameters like min-max height, weight, volume, number of HUs but route is not there.

I have done the full configuration moved the masters to the EWM system from ECC, but having issues with the transactions

We are working on ECC-TM-EWM integration and was wondering the best practise we should adopt while implementing handling unit management for various material types. Some of the suggestion was there we should have this set up from EWM directly in case HU is not created during deliveries from ECC.Can experts on EWM throw light on this

I need help regarding partially accepted scenario. For example out of 10 Cases/Item XYZ of qty 10, 4 are good and remaining 6 are not good. Business wants to accept only those 4 and return remaining 6. In this scenario, how do we configure the follow up actions? Do we get item/quantity wise updates form ECC? I have maintained quality score 50 against decision and assigned below PTWP action to it. Whenever that decision code was used in ECC, it is properly updating inspection document in EWM. But EWM, is making the 100% qty as Accepted with follow up action PTWP.
In the EWM system, I could not configure more than 1 follow up action for a decision code.
