Inspection document created in EWM is not able to create inspection lot in ECC. In the inspection document, it is identifiying external system and its business system properly. But seems to be communication is not happening properly. what should I check?

We've got error message during WH task creation via tcode /SCWM/IM_PC for posting change. Would you please guide us the solution?
Error message
Message No. /SCWM/UI_TODLV005
For the transmitted search criteria, the system did not find any warehouse request items for which a warehouse task can be created.
The system can only find a warehouse request if the following conditions are fulfilled:
The system does not propose any warehouse request items for processing.
Step found error --> input posting change --> update stock type from Unrestricted-Use (F2) to be Blocked Warehouse (B6) , using W/H proc type - 4010
--> Select menu Posting change --> follow on function --> Warehouse task --> this error occured and unable to proceed further step.

I am not clear on why we need a Business System in EWM (SCM) but there's none in ECC.
Can anyone pls elaborate on this.

Hi Experts,
Our scenario is we will be uploading stock using scwm/ISU in EWM. But this will not be posted back in ERP as ERP is live system.
Is there any standard reconciliation report available to perform stock comparison once we execute program?
Dear Experts,
As per SAP suggestion we have Activated the Business Function SCM_EWM_FND to convert the Base UoM into Stock Specific UoM.
We have maintained the Product Base UoM = KG and in Storage & Whse Data Tab of Product Master we also maintained the
Preferred UoM = CS(case)
But still in inbound / outbound documents and Wh. Monitor the Product UoM is shown in Base UoM(KG).
Kindly suggest if any config change is to be implemented.

In EWM Product Master - Classification tab I am not getting Class type 230 when I click on "CLASSIFICAITON" button.
The class 230 is available and can be selected when I created Batch Class -"EXPIRATION".
I have created characteristics ....
ZLOBM_VFDAT Shelf Life Expiration Date
ZLOBM_RLZ Remaining Shelf Life
and assigned to class 230 :
Class EXPIRATION
Class type 230
Change Number
Valid from 17.10.2014
ZLOBM_VFDAT Shelf Life Expiration Date or NUM 15 0 W
ZLOBM_RLZ Remaining Shelf Life for W01 CHAR 30 0 W
But at Product Master Class 230 is not selectable from dropdown?
Any suggestion for missing setting?
Please note - Batches , Class and Characteristics are not maintained in our case in ERP and are required to be created in EWM only.

Hi,
In my POSC setup for QM, it always forcing me to move product tom QM work center even of the material is not QM managed.
If the stock type F1 during delivery creation which doesn't require QM , how to skip QM step/work center.
The same question applicable for De-consolidation too, if i got single product in a HU, system should not force to move to DECON work center rather skip and go for next step.
Any suggestion on this.

I need to set up a little complex warehouse. This warehouse will have stocks supplied by vendors and in many cases will be owned by the vendors (vendor consigned stocks). I just tried a test and found that stocks received carries the vendor as the owner, but the outbound delivery that comes to pick this does not have owner field (as vendor) in the outbound delivery order?? Am I missing something?
There may also be stocks purchased by the warehouse (owner = party entitled to dispose). Sometimes we also may have to reserve the stock for some customers based on their request . This stock that needs to be reserved, may be vendor owned (owner = vendor) or may be warehouse owned (owner = party entitled to dispose). I am not very sure on how I can reserve the stock for a customer... I can see SOS (Sales order stock) in /SCWM/POST. So, can I assume that you will have to do posting change in ewm, against a request from customer. Is there any other way to reserve the stock for a customer? Will this stock be automatically identified for picking the outbound delivery order for this sales order comes to EWM from ECC?
I am not sure If I need to set up a third party warehouse for handling this... Do I need to then have different party entitled to dispose in EWM for each customer connected to different plants in ECC? W

I have done all required settings for both ECC and ERP.
But when I checked erp-ewm check report ,it says RFC destination is missing for logical system.
Any pointers where I am actually missing the config.

I am working on VAS Order process. While trying to activate ODM for VAS in IMG-->SCWM-->EWM-->Cross Process Settings-->VAS-->Activate Order Document Management for VAS, I am getting below error-
"Component
VASP
The structure of component VASP could not be generated (DDIF_TABL_ACTIVATE)
Order Data Area
Order component VASP specified (status active: 'X') does not exist"
When I go to SCM Basis-->Order document Management-->Check settings in Order Document Management I get additional information about error-
"The component is inactive
Component VASP contains change mode (OBJCHG)
Structure /SCWM/S_VAS_ODM_AUX does not contain all administration fields
Table type /SCWM/TT_VAS_ODM_AUX uses structure /SCWM/S_VAS_ODM_AUX"

I have done all necessary erp-ewm settings.
When I am creating ID for PO , I am getting below error :
Inbound delivery ****** could not be distributed.
Msg no. VL589
I checked VOFM transaction and found all settings for picking(11,111) ,Goods Issue(13,113) and Distribution (14,114)in Place.
Any pointer where I am missing.

When I checked EWM system I can see IDN.
I am trying to create ID for IDN but getting no success.
I can see ppf action failed for IDN.

Hi all,
I'm using the Production Material Request (PMR) functionality which is available from EWM 9.2. Next to that, I have configured a POSC process which is triggered based on this PMR. The process itself runs smoothly, but I am missing some monitoring functions which are usually available for inbound and outbound deliveries.
My main problem is that my PMR is only linked to first WT of my process, in my case a picking WT. My next step in the POSC (packing) can be executed, but the WT is not linked to the PMR. This makes it pretty hard to follow the material as it is processed through the warehouse.
Any suggestions on how to improve this? Or does anyone know if SAP is already preparing functionality on this topic?

I am trying to do confirm the WT'S for PUTAWAY from GR-Zone (9010) to Bins in Storage Type 0010 for an ID .But I am getting the above error,I think I have not set up the Availability Group settings properly.
Pls suggest
Configure Availabilty Group node-
Assign Availability Group to Storage Type Node- below screenshot for Destination Storage Type 0010
Map Storage Locations from ERP System to EWM System-
Default Values for Posting Change Node- No value maintained for WPT 1010

Hello Experts,
I am working on a scenario where once we receive products, we move them to an intermediate location. From Intermediate location product is moved to VAS work center. Once VAS activity is complete products are moved to final location.
In SAP EWM when my INB del is received VAS order gets created. Once material is packed ,Warehouse task is created to move product from GR-ZONE to ID point. Other tasks are also created in waiting status for VS02 STEP to move product from ID point to VAS work center and for IB03 STEP to move to final putaway.
The moment I confirm first task to move product to ID point, system is cancelling task for IB03 step. This is very strange and I have no clue why it is happening. Please guide me.

Hello Experts,
My CIF for master data is not working .
I am trying to CIF my material master in EWM.
When I am trying to activate it in CFM2 it keeps buffering with message
" Processing Load Channel.... "
It keeps on buffering for hour.
Had I missed out any piece of config.
At the same time when I check SMQ1 queue in ECC I can see it.
When I activate it gets clear from outbound queue but I didn't find product master in EWM.
Any help on this will be appreciated.

Everything are in place but why system is not determining WPT .
Also what can be the reason for block.
